1. Employer Contributions and Vesting
The employer likely contributes to the Hunter’s Ambulance Savings & Retirement Plan, but those contributions often come with a vesting schedule. Only the vested portion is subject to division. If the employee is not fully vested at the time of divorce, a portion of the employer match may be forfeitable.
