Although the plan and employer identifier numbers (EIN and Plan Number) are currently unknown, these will be required at the time of QDRO preparation. You or your attorney can request this information directly from the plan administrator.
A 401(k) is a defined contribution plan, which means it has a specific dollar amount tied to the account that changes in value based on contributions, withdrawals, and investment performance. In divorces, that dollar value must be divided properly via a QDRO so that the alternate payee (the ex-spouse) receives their share directly from the plan.

With the Baker Aviation 401(k) Plan, like most private-sector 401(k) accounts, contributions may come from both the employee (through salary deferral) and Baker aviation, LLC (as employer matches or discretionary contributions).
